At the Cascades Center for Dental Health, we want to make the patient experience as convenient as possible. Here is some information that may be useful to you. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
We see all patients on an appointment basis and request that you schedule in advance so we may reserve specific treatment times for you. Our office and team phone number is (703) 260-6206. We make every attempt to see you in a timely manner and complete your treatment as efficiently as possible. We request you extend the same courtesy to us. After all, we are committed to each other’s success!
If you cannot keep your appointment, please give us 2 business days (see office hours) notice so we can extend this valuable time to another patient. A nominal fee will be charged for broken appointments and changes without adequate notice—we know how valuable your time is—ours is as well!
Our Insurance Philosophy and Management
As a courtesy, we will submit your insurance and receive the corresponding payments. You will be responsible for mailing any co-payments at the time of service, per your contract with the insurance company.
Please feel free to call to speak to our insurance team members to help clarify your individual situations.
Important Information for Our Patients with Insurance
It is such a pleasure having you as a part of our dental family! We will never take for granted the fact that you have chosen us to care for your dental needs. We have made every effort to make your dental visits with us as comfortable as possible and take a tremendous amount of pride in providing the finest quality dental care available.
We are pleased that many of you have a dental insurance policy that will help supplement the cost of your needed dental treatment. We will do everything we can to help maximize your benefits. Unfortunately, with the insurance industry changing so dramatically, we have found that maximizing patient benefits under many plans can be very challenging! Our office administrators have spent many hours studying to become knowledgeable and familiar with different insurance companies and their subtleties. Unfortunately, these companies often continue to change their policies regarding benefits, are often difficult to work with, and do everything they can to delay treatment and payments.
Our goal in this practice is to provide you with the very highest quality dental treatment available at an exceptional value. Sadly, insurance companies make money by paying only the very cheapest alternative and disregarding what is in the patient’s best interest. Very frequently, they will disregard what we have diagnosed, utilizing X-rays and a thorough clinical exam, just to decrease the benefit for use and increase the profit for them. Usually, this results in numerous phone calls and letters by our insurance administrator just to try to get them to re-evaluate our recommendation and pay for what is needed.
It has been the policy of some other dental offices to accept the insurance companies’ recommended treatment, which is diagnosed without ever seeing the patient! This compromises your care, and this is where we feel we must draw the line! We refuse to compromise, in any way, the state-of-the-art and quality care that patients deserve and receive through our diagnosis and treatment.
As a courtesy, we will submit the insurance paperwork for you. We request that you pay your predetermined co-payment or patient portion at the time of service. When your insurance company pays us, any difference or remaining balance will be your responsibility.
Remember, we are here for you and take it very seriously when we are asked to compromise treatment just so the insurance company can make more money.
We thank you for your cooperation and continued support!
Fees & Payments
We believe there is no better investment than in your oral health. We’ll work with you to afford the care you need.
We are very conscious of the investment in your oral health. We provide, we feel, the best dental care you will find in the area. We request our patients to pay for their treatment at the time it is completed. All recommended treatment will be reviewed and discussed with you after your initial examination.
A written treatment plan will be provided and options will be discussed with you. We live by the golden rule of “treat others as you would like to be treated,” so the optimal treatment will be prescribed. Compromise is not an option.
We have financial options available to make the treatment work for you. If needed, a financial contract will be presented and created with you to fit your needs.
We accept VISA & MasterCard.
